To the ResCue
Since July 2013 there have been '8345' surf lifesaving rescues and '25144' treatments of first aid across Australia (Australian Surf Life Saving, 2014). Being a country having a huge social and tourist focus on water, particularly the sea, it is vitally important that all australians learn and be able to make use of not only surf life saving skills but first aid as well. Learning Surf Life Saving and First Aid will not only be able to be used to help people but, in certain situations, may be used to save peoples life.
